Laura is a multi-talented actress located in Denver, Colorado and works in the Denver, New Mexico and Los Angeles markets.
Laura began acting when she was twelve, taking part in productions at her local childrens' theatre in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Soon after college she began taking film classes in Denver, Colorado. There she fell in love with film, and started acting in local productions and producing some of her own comedic shorts, The Adventures of Shelley and Margo .
She has taken classes with the Front Range Acting Studio and DS StudioWorks in Denver. She is trained in improv and stage combat. Her first lead role came in the summer of 2007 when she played a fiery wood nymph in the short film, Dao of Spam Karma. From there she landed the role of an emotional intern in the 2008 feature film Indie. Laura stars in Alone , a production from Twelve Monkeys Dancing Films . Alone has done well in film festivals and was accepted into the Kansas City Film Festival, Castle Rock Film Festival 2009 and Festivus Film Festival 2010.
So far in 2011, Laura has recently finished portraying the character of Renee inReset. Reset is a short film by Twelve Monkeys Dancing Films for the 72-hour film contest, The Mockside Ultimate Filmmaker Challenge. She has just started production of short film, Breach.
Laura's creative pursuits are not limited to acting; she is an avid painter and photographer.
